While the internet provides a lot of different material for us to handle, we often wonder what the next conversation will be like. Can we find something interesting enough to talk about that we both enjoy? Can we weed through all of the controversial BS that is plaguing the web? While there is a lot to chew up and regurgitate from the internet, we somehow find ourselves entertaining one particular concept....Aliens.
That isn't because we are running out of material, but there is truly so much fascination with the topic. Maybe that makes us a little annoying, or maybe people enjoy the outrageous and random theories that stem from our discussion (including Rod's simulation theory or Peppermint Matty and Seth's combined theory behind Elon Musk being an ambassador from another world and is here to run tests on the humans). One thing is sure about it though, we enjoy talking about it. Although it seems like we can continue to expand on the one topic for the duration of our podcast (hopefully we can continue to provide content for years to come), there is so much more to talk about. We are in a time where cinematic media is at an all time high. Whether it is the small screen or the big screen, the amount of content coming out from these streaming moguls is tremendous.
Again, an endless topic that can be talked about for years. When Idiots On A Mic was first created, we wanted to set ourselves apart from the others. Yes, aliens can be talked about forever and yes, movies and TV shows will never end, but there has to be something else to draw the attention of people in a humorous way. That is why our hypothetical questions are a cornerstone of what the show is about. What better way to get the people interacting with a show than providing them something to think about, rather than something to discuss. Tell us what you would do in a particular situation and why. A livestream is nothing without the interaction of the listeners or viewers, which is what makes a show fun and has become an integral component of our continued success. Without our viewers and listeners, we would probably have burned out by now. Let's keep this thing rolling and as always.....CHEERS!
