Behind the Mic: The Dreaded Episode 2

Rod and I poured our hearts into Episode 2 in so many ways. That Episode was recorded and shot about three times just because of all the screw ups and mishaps that took place. Looking back at it, it certainly was not one that we should have released to video. Our initial mistake was thinking the Maine coon cat that Rod and Fe owned would not interrupt our recording situation in any way, which speaks a lot to how big of Idiots we can be. What could be more inviting than a tripod with a camera on it to a cat that attacked every post in sight? Needless to say there was a ten to twenty minute period that we had where there was peace and good, comical discussion. Then things truly started to get funny. The cat, Waffles, discovered our delicate tripod system and decided it was her time to shine. Right in the middle of our conversation she SWATTED! Down goes the camera and down the drain goes the momentum of our conversation. Nothing broke and the cat got away and still has the cute curiosity that she had that day. No harm was done as we simply paused and decided to try our luck again with the same setup. Now we faced a problem that we came across a number of times in the early going....the battery life of the camera. Although we were rather passionate about this hobby, we didn't exactly have a ton of spare cash to put into it. The camera we had was an open box special that we grabbed simply to get things going. We would soon find out it wasn't our best investment and have since stopped using it for recording purposes(ANOTHER UPGRADE!). We would eventually find out that this was far from our last technical woe as we continued on our journey to get where we are now.
